North Queensland Bone Island group sketches

Sitting on the van bed late each night sketching bones and shells collected along the way and thinking up names for each sketch......

It became a bit of an obsession.....

But very enjoyable.....

These eventually turned into a handmade book for an shared exhibition titled 'I must go down to the sea again' at my local gallery.....

Watercolours - remembering Fred dog

Faithfull Fred - a tiny dog who found a home with our family after turning up in a sorry state one day.....

We tried hard to find his previous owner with no success so Fred stayed.....

Fearless Fred was a champion protector who survived 3 venomous snake bites.....

With only one major fear - water.....

Fred, Freddy, Freddles, Fred dog - companion who enriched our lives and lived a long life despite his snake fighting days.....

We miss Fred and will always remember him with thanks as a gift.....
